Is your dog eating the right food?
Often there is association between food and behaviour, sometimes all you have to do to sort out a behaviour problem like hyper activity, excessive nipping, jumping or if your dog is lethargic.

Important Information When Changing Foods:
It is important when changing foods to do so gradually by feeding the old food with a small amount of the new food and then over a few days decreasing the amount of old food and increasing the amount of new, rather than changing suddenly so the intestinal flora of your dog can adapt to the new dog food, this process is normally 2-3 weeks, but realistically could take 4-6 weeks at the very least to see results. Unless symptoms of intolerance surface, 3-4 months is a more reasonable time frame. This should avoid any stomach upset due to change of diet and is particularly important with puppies and young dogs.
